By purchasing products via our website, you agree to and are bound by the terms and conditions listed on this webpage. These terms and conditions may be amended by us at any time by posting amended or new terms on this website.
We have a minimum delivery of 6 bottles but feel free to mix and match.
Sale of Alcohol
Cross Hares holds an off-license 59/OFF/086/2019 as defined in the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and is legally authorised to promote, sell, and deliver wine via online and from our cellar door. It is illegal for us to sell to anyone under the age of 18. It is also illegal for anyone who is under 18 to make a false declaration of their age in order to use this website and purchase alcohol.
Cross Hares currently only accepts payment via direct credit unless at the cellar door. All prices are in New Zealand dollars. Note we are not G.S.T registered. Every purchase is subject to the laws of New Zealand.
Can I collect my order? Yes you can. We are situated at 7/1269 Christchurch- Akaroa Road (Summerhill) just five minutes drive from Tai Tapu township. Give us a call/text if you are coming out as we may be fishing!
Prices quoted on this website do not include delivery costs. Any delivery cost in relation to your order needs to be added to your bank transfer payment and we are happy to advise cost on inquiry.
We have entrusted our friends at Courier Post to deliver your purchase. They will require a signature by a person aged 18 years and over to release the package. We can’t leave these goodies for someone inappropriate to get their hands on them. If you’re not home they will leave a card.
General delivery pricing is as follows:
- Around Christchurch for 6 and 12 bottles $6.00
- For the remainder of the South Island 6 bottles $20.00
- For the North Island 6 bottles $25.00
For our rural friends the above rates apply but because many of you have long driveways there is an additional $4.0 for rural addresses – sorry!
We aim to deliver all purchases in New Zealand within five working days. We cannot deliver on ANZAC day, Christmas Day and over Easter best to give the Couriers a break.
Refunds and Returns
We make every effort to ensure that your purchase reaches you in top condition. If you have any questions or concerns about your purchase, please contact us.
We aim to provide as accurate a description of its product as possible, but your personal perception may vary from our description.
All product is sold subject to availability. Where product is temporarily out of stock we will contact you so that you may choose between a refund on the item, having it delivered when it is back in stock or selecting an alternative product.
We reserve the right to restrict the number of bottles of a particular wine to each individual customer when quantities are limited.
