Canterbury Pinot Noir 2017
WINE ORBIT- SAM KIM REVIEW August 2019 94/100 points 5 Stars
Seductively expressed, the wine shows sweet strawberry, dark cherry, smoked game, truffle and toasted nut aromas on the nose, leading to a silky-smooth palate that is beautifully rounded and expansive. It is flavoursome with juicy fruit intensity, wonderfully enhanced by savoury undertones, finishing long and gratifying. At its best: now to 2022.
Long is the toil of the day under the north west arch. What splendour to gaze upon the plains towards the alpine heart. Our vineyard on a volcanic base, in CANTERBURY there is no better place. Let stories flow like this fine wine of friends a new and those left behind.
Dedicated to the memory of Steve Greenman – wine lover and top bloke.
